La Orquidea daycare center was founded by Anna Menoud in the year 2000. Our desire is to develop in children a sense of personal worth and self-confidence, so that they have a positive attitude towards themselves, towards others and towards school work. We also want to strengthen the personality of each child in accordance with his / her own needs, interests, experiences and cultural background. Children are welcome from the age of 2 in the morning or in the afternoon. The course of the day is divided up regularly, so that the child is located little by little in time according to the repetitive rhythm of the days. If the primary purpose of a kindergarten is to allow parents to go to work, the next step is to provide children with a safe environment in which they can develop harmoniously. To do this, we strive to create a socio-emotional and didactic environment to meet both the needs of children and the reality of community life. While being attentive to the whole group of children, we try to be as vigilant as possible to the emotional well-being of each child.
