La Orquidea is a French-Spanish private bilingual daycare center located in the district of the Eaux-Vives in Geneva. It welcomes children from 2 to 4 years from Monday to Friday with the aim of giving the child a complementary environment to his family. Your child will have the opportunity to acquire as many elements as possible for a harmonious evolution within the community. Our pedagogy is based on observation of the child in order to adapt the activities of the day to his needs, his stage of development and his own rhythm.
Learning a language is an asset in the personal development of the child. La Orquidea creates a framework adapted to children of different ages, from different origins and backgrounds but who will have in common the specific approach of a foreign language. The goal is that each child can retain his / her mother tongue and those he or she already speaks while learning a new one. This will stimulate its cognitive development and will promote in the future the learning of other languages but above all allow it to maintain a fundamental link with the culture of his native language.
